The SEG Student Chapters Excellence Program recognizes Student Chapters that demonstrate outstanding leadership, engagement, and service to the global geoscience community.
Through annual reporting and evaluation, chapters earn recognition for technical activities, outreach, collaboration, and volunteerism — strengthening both their campus presence and their global visibility within SEG.
Participation is required for all active Student Chapters and serves as the pathway to maintaining active status, earning rankings, and qualifying for awards.
