Jim has served as Executive Director of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists since 2019, leading the organization through a period of strategic transformation and global growth.

With over two decades of leadership experience in organizations, Jim is dedicated to strengthening SEG’s impact through innovation, inclusivity, and partnership across geoscience disciplines.

Carlos manages SEG’s financial operations and administrative services, ensuring transparency, accountability, and strategic investment in programs that advance SEG’s mission.

Yogaani leads SEG’s expansion across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific—one of the Society’s most strategic growth corridors—overseeing regional operations spanning Kuala Lumpur, China, and India.

She drives growth across energy and mining in some of the world’s most dynamic resource markets by building government partnerships, forging industry alliances, and delivering high-impact platforms that accelerate exploration, energy innovation, and capability development. Her work focuses on translating SEG’s global mission into scalable regional impact—advancing geoscience innovation, energy transition, and future-ready talent pipelines across emerging economies.

Xuri leads SEG China, part of SEG Global, Inc. SEG China is headquartered in Beijing and plays a central role in expanding SEG’s mission across one of the world’s most important markets for geoscience and energy innovation. Local staff members work to ensure SEG’s resources, programs, and events remain accessible, relevant, and impactful for the Chinese geoscience community.

Tom oversees the Tulsa office and its extensive operational capabilities in membership, publications, education programs, and joint event operations, to name a few. He leads with an enduring commitment to the science of geophysics.

Scott is a highly accomplished and results-driven senior leader with extensive technical experience in 2D/3D land and marine seismic data processing and modelling, technical project management, technology benchmarking, software development, contracts, and tender/bid package submission.

Sarah leads the philanthropic and fundraising efforts of the SEG Foundation, working to secure the financial support that allows SEG to deliver impactful education, workforce development, and humanitarian programs around the world.

Annabella leads SEG’s educational initiatives, events, and professional development programs, connecting learners and professionals through workshops, symposia, and global learning platforms.

Robin oversees global marketing strategy, brand management, and digital communications for SEG. She leads cross-functional initiatives that elevate SEG’s visibility and engagement across members, partners, and the wider geoscience community.

Jennifer manages SEG’s world-class portfolio of peer-reviewed journals, books, and digital publications, maintaining the Society’s reputation for editorial excellence and advancing knowledge in applied geophysics.
