In response to the war in Ukraine, SEG President Anna Shaughnessy formed the SEG Ukrainian Support Task Force. The Task Force worked to identify and recommend constructive actions to help our impacted Ukrainian members and students during this difficult time.

The Board unanimously accepted the recommendations from the Task Force. The following actions have been taken so far:

• Dues waivers have been sent to our Ukrainian members
• SEG made a generous humanitarian donation to Doctors Without Borders working to provide medical aide to Ukraine
• A Professional Development Benefit Plan is being created for Ukrainian members

The Board appreciates the work and dedication of the Ukrainian Support Task Force and staff for their efforts to implement these actions as well as others that are underway.

SEG remains steadfast in our concern for Ukraine, our members, their families, and others impacted. A peaceful resolution to the war cannot come fast enough.
