SEG honors the life of former longtime employee Sheral Danker, who passed away on 16 January 2024. Danker served authors, editors, and reviewers of SEG publications for almost 30 years, and many of those with whom she worked closely became good friends.

SEG President Arthur Cheng, a member of the GEOPHYSICS Editorial Board for many years, benefited from working with Danker. “The editors of GEOPHYSICS really appreciated what Sheral did for them over the years. She made our lives much easier,” said President Cheng.

SEG extends condolences to her family and all of her friends.
