The scarcity of fresh water is a longstanding problem affecting the health, productivity, and quality of life for millions of people in central India. An extensive study of the mitigating factors affecting the water supply in the Salri village was conducted, and the capacity of the aquifer downstream of the water harvesting structure was thoroughly evaluated.
