Listen to a brief introduction of SEG’s first podcast – Seismic Soundoff – with highlights from its first twelve episodes. With new episodes monthly, Seismic Soundoff features leaders in industry, emerging research, and the latest from the field of applied geophysics.
What is a podcast?
A podcast is like a radio show with other ways to listen than your AM/FM dial. By using the internet or a smart device (phone or tablet), you can listen to interviews with the latest SEG book authors, get updates on Society news and events, and explore critical topics in the field. You will also hear highlights from SEG journals – The Leading Edge, Interpretation, GEOPHYSICS – and events like Annual Meeting and the Distinguished Instructor Short Course (DISC).
Most podcasts, including “Seismic Soundoff,” are audio-based conversations. SEG releases at least one new episode each month.
