Once you have confirmed that you meet the qualifications for SEG membership, we recommend that you gather a few materials before you start the application process. This will help speed up the process and ensure a successful completion of your application.
Your application data will be automatically saved. You may sign in and return to complete the application for up to 30 days. After 30 days, your incomplete application will be deleted.
For Active Membership
- Have a copy of your resume or work history ready.
- Check out the Dues Structure and determine your appropriate World Bank Country so you can select the proper dues amount.
For Associate Membership
- Check out the Dues Structure and determine your appropriate World Bank Country so you can select the proper dues amount.
For Student Membership
- Have name and contact information of a current professor or faculty member ready. Student applications and member benefits will not be activated until a reference is received and processed.

Please note that if you are a current member wishing to transfer or upgrade, the application will present you with your available options based upon your SEG record accessed by your sign in credentials.
