Workshop Description

The Meet and Greet aims to be an initiative between SEG Asia Pacific and industry hosts to encourage professional engagement and discussions between geoscientists and the like on a quarterly basis to have a casual discourse on topics related in the field of geoscience or to discuss other valuable skills within the industry. The session will have two featured senior professional and junior professionals who will engage in a panel discussion followed by a networking session among attendees. It also serves as a marketing initiative for SEG to promote other local workshops and events.

Theme Overview

In the first edition of the SEG Asia Pacific Meet & Greet, the panelists will engage in a casual discourse on Workplace Culture and Well-being. The session aims to have an information sharing on how different cultures of different workplaces are different from one another. In result of that, the session discusses on strategies to maintain mental and physical well-being that comes being in the demanding field of oil and gas including stress management and self-care practices as a geoscientist.
