Energy in Data will explore the digital transformation in oil & gas

Tulsa, OK, 8 April 2019 – The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), have joined forces to bring the Energy in Data Conference to Austin, Texas, 17-19 June 2019, at the newly-renovated Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The conference will include the latest in digital transformation trends as they relate to the energy sector (with topics such as machine learning and data management storage), oil & gas development and drilling, production, and more.

The digital transformation is dramatically changing how the oil and gas industry operates. The opening plenary session, Business Breakthroughs with Digital Transformation Crossing Disciplines, will explore different elements of transformation, the technologies, data management and integration, and the cultural change integral to realizing and sustaining true digital transformation.
