This year's conference is centrally located in Hawaii and will focus on near-surface issues within the entire Pan-Pacific region. This conference will provide a world-class forum for your new technical advances, developments, and applications in near-surface geophysics.
Daily Schedule at a Glance
The schedule for this conference will be quite robust and offers much to all delegates.
Onsite Technical Program
Topcs covered at this year's conference will include:
- Shallow Seismology
- Register for NSAP 2015Ground Penetrating Radar
- Electric, EM and NMR Methods
- Engineering Geophysics
- Environmental Geophysics
- Mining and Geothermal Exploration
- Remote Sensing and Lidar Applications
- Hydrogeophysics
- Rock and Soil Properties
- Borehole Geophysics
- Modeling and Inversion
- Geophysical Instruments
In addition, given that this year's venue is located on the Hawaiian volcanic chain we will take the opportunity to highlight geophysical applications to natural hazards with a focus on volcano geophysics. Special sessions are planned for volcano characterization and monitoring, imaging and stratigraphy of pyroclastic flows, geophysical applications to tsunamis, and passive/micro seismic methods for near-surface applications.
