Covering all regions of the world, SEG events provide interactive, face-to-face access to new information, key contacts, and innovative solutions.
The SEG International Exposition and 87th Annual Meeting in Houston will provide vast amounts of cutting-edge technical insight, high-level networking and new business development opportunities across multiple disciplines of the geosciences sector, including global oil, gas, mineral exploration, near surface, archeology, and more.
The objectives of the ICEG 2017 are to concentrate on global innovation, creativity, advances, and new approaches in the field of engineering/environmental geophysics and in related fields. In addition to the core engineering/environmental and geotechnical focuses of this coming event, special sessions will be held in applications related to Archaeology, Energy, and Forensic Geophysics.
This workshop aims to exchange geophysical theories, methods, and examples of the exploration and development of carbonate reservoirs, to discuss technical problems in practical applications, and to promote technological progress.
This workshop aims to provide the geological, seismological, and engineering framework to reservoir and completion engineers and geoscientists involved with designing or conducting injection operations.
The goal of this workshop is to support and align industry geophysicist’s understanding of current and future simultaneous source acquisition methodologies, such that they may select the most suitable method for their own future challenges.
This workshop focuses on the communication of new discoveries for FWI theories and applications, encourages sharing experiences, knowledge, and challenges on various inversions of seismic exploration.
This workshop assesses the potential of full waveform inversion as we compare the potential outputs and results taking into consideration the challenges and difficulties, with special emphasis on challenges related to high resolution and reservoir attributes, waveform inversion of micro seismic events, and the ever challenging Salt body.
This workshop will serve as a forum for open and extended discussions on the current status and future use of suitable samples, wide azimuth and broadband data in hydrocarbon exploration & recovery. Emphasis will be placed on applications to highlight the added value for proven methodologies.
The Quantitative Seismic Reservoir Characterization workshop will focus on taking a step further into translating the seismic inversion results, using an advanced probabilistic approach with integration of geologic info such as sedimentology, structural interpretation, and sequence stratigraphy to produce 3D volumes exhibiting facies with associated fluid predictions.
The CPS/SEG Beijing 2018 International Geophysical Conference and Exposition (held every four years) will be held in Beijing, China, 24-27 April 2018. CPS/SEG Beijing 2018 organizers invite you to submit abstracts to be considered for oral or E-poster presentation at this upcoming meeting.
